Stop blaming Antifa

Editor:

Time for the right to stop blaming Antifa for the things they, themselves are guilty of.

“Apparently, according to people there, they are Antifa.” Now that is funny.

According the people? What people? More propaganda from Trumpers.

Do you have any idea what Antifa is? Antifa is a left-wing anti-fascist and anti-racist political movement in the United States. It is highly decentralized and comprises an array of autonomous groups that aim to achieve their objectives through the use of both non-violent and violent direct action rather than through policy reform

Much of antifa political activism is nonviolent, involving poster and flyer campaigns, mutual aid, delivering speeches, marching in protest, and community organizing. They also engage in protest tactics, seeking to combat fascists and racists such as neo-Nazis, white supremacists, and other far-right extremists, and differing from other leftist opposition movements by their willingness to directly confront far-right activists, and in some cases law enforcement. This may involve digital activism, doxing, harassment, physical violence, and property damage against those whom they identify as belonging to the far right. (They sure wouldn’t be wearing MAGA hats and following #45’s orders.)

Do you even know what antifa means? It means anti (against) fa (fascism). Fascism is a form of far-right , authoritarian ultranationalism characterized by dictatorial power, forcible suppression of opposition and strong regimentation of society and of the economy which came to prominence in early 20th-century Europe. The first fascist movements emerged in Italy during World War I, before spreading to other European countries. Opposed to liberalism, democracy, Marxism, and anarchism, fascism is placed on the far right within the traditional left-right spectrum.

It is like other buzzwords the right like to throw around that they have no idea what it really means, they just like to use slurs against the Democratic Party. Like communism and socialism. Democratic socialism is alive and well in this country and has been for decades. You can’t leave your house without it. Anything public or government is democratic socialism.

Communism (from Latin communis, “common, universal”) is a philosophical, social, political and economic ideology and movement whose ultimate goal is the establishment of a communist society, namely a socioeconomic order structured upon the ideas of common ownership of the means of production and absence of social classes, money and the state.” Communism s not practiced in the United States, we are a capitalist country.

Food for thought: It takes a special kind of stupid to believe the left would dress up like the right and go to the Capitol to overthrow an election that they won. Enough said.
